Fun Saturday

We had a full and funfilled Saturday this past weekend. We discovered Fort Yargo, a state park only about 20 minutes from our house.

Aiden loved playing in the lake.

The hiking trails were excellent. As you can see Aiden has loads of energy we have to burn everyday.

Jocelyn enjoyed riding in her front carrier. She slept part of the time.

Dan and Aiden are planning on going back soon to do some fishing.

While we ate our lunch, Jocelyn slept on the park bench.

Aiden played on the rocks and the playground while we ate. When there is playing to be done he rarely eats.

While we were at Fort Yargo, my mom was riding in the Lula Parade. Her and Fancy were really stepping out with their red hairbows.

Al riding Abi and Mama riding Fancy.

After we finished our morning events we all headed for Papa Harrell and Memaw's. We had to pull up all the remaining flowers and clothes line posts from my great grandmother's place. She has been gone a few years, so we had to do some cleaning out. This is Aiden on the tractors with my dad.

Aiden dug up more fishing worms. He says they're his friends.

Aiden finally decided to eat (a peanut butter cookie and sweet tea) while watching Dan and Al work on a cabinet.

This is Aiden with his Papa Harrell.

Dan and Al were busy while everyone else was watching.

Memaw kept Jocelyn inside while everyone was busy.

One of the flowers we took home, was a prickly pear cactus. Dan remembers his mom making jelly out of the fruit when he was a boy, so he wants me to try it.

Looks like a busy day! I love Jocelyn's outfit. I can't wait until it gets a little warmer up here, Wisconsin must be just a little farther north than Georgia.
